This work is about self-expression not self-improvement.  Ernest Holmes said “Be for something and against nothing.”  Our society spends a lot of time focused on what needs to be ‘fixed’ or ‘improved,’ pointing out what is ‘wrong’. But when we view humankind in its Divine nature, as an expression of its Creator, we find that nothing is broken. We are inherently whole. As spiritual beings in every moment, each one of us is forever evolving, forever unfolding.  Our Spiritual evolution is God expressing through us, in us and as us.

Self-expression is the God in us that triggers the desire to show our uniqueness. We are creations with the natural drive and desire to create. Creativity completes us. This is how the Universe stays in balance, evolves, expands, and raises in consciousness.  We seek inspiration, and then express our inspiration uniquely.

This channel for self-expression makes the good in our lives a reality.  It provides a foundation of fulfillment because when we are expressing from our authentic self, we are standing in our God-given power. Thriving in full self-expression is the purpose of our existence, for it sparks our evolution and develops our eternal soul.

Everyone has a direct connection to God; an intermediary is not a requirement. I work as a guide, not as a substitute for anyone’s personal connection with the Divine.  I help people to flush out and discern the information they are receiving. However, only they will know what is true for them.  This work is about empowerment.

As a minster and mentor, I am a tutor for spiritual education. I collaborate with clients on opening to their good and expressing their personal truth.  There is not just one way to do this, as everyone is unique. What and how you express will evolve and change as you evolve and change, and as your relationship to the Universe evolves and changes. Conscious union with God, the Universe, Creator, Spirit, Source, our Highest-Self – whatever you wish to call it – is the key to living a full and purposeful life.

At times, personal growth may be uncomfortable. However, the more you lean into that which intimidates you, the easier action will become.  Labor leads to liberation, and liberation leads to freedom.  As a result of this work, clients show up differently in every area of life. This spark creates an atmosphere, a contagion that sparks self-expression in others.

Remember, no one can live life for you! Being inspired is wonderful, but it’s purpose is to call you to self-expression.  That is what keeps the chain going.  As you open to who you are inherently, and fall in love with your nature, your path becomes exciting and gives birth to clarity as you open to your divine connection. Self-expression is so simple yet so incredibly powerful.

“You are alive to be different.  Through all these varieties, man is displaying the infinite variableness of Spirit”  – Raymond C. Barker

“The criterion for any man as to what is right or wrong for him is not to be found in some other man’s judgment. The criterion is: Does the thing I wish to do express more life, more happiness, more peace for myself, and at the same time harm no one? If it does, it is right.”  – Ernest Holmes

“The difference between what we do, and what we are capable of doing, would solve most of the world’s problems.”  – Mahatma Gandhi

“The purpose of life is to grow in awareness of your true power.”
-Rev. Kathianne Lewis, D.D.

“There is a Universal Wholeness seeking expression through everything [Here,] we are calling it Simply Life. The religionist calls it God. The philosopher calls it Reality. Life is infinite energy coupled with limitless creative imagination. It is the invisible essence and substance of every visible form. Its nature is goodness, truth, wisdom and beauty, as well as energy and imagination. Our highest satisfaction comes from a sense of conscious union with this invisible Life. All human endeavor is an attempt to get back to first principles, to find such an inward wholeness that all sense of fear, doubt and uncertainty vanishes…”

“God is Life; not some life but all Life. God is Action; not some action but all Action. God is Power; not some power but all Power. God is Presence; not some presence but all Presence. God is pure Spirit, filling all space. This pure Spirit animates your every act. There is a real you which lives in a real God and the two are one. To know this is to understand the secret of life. To realize this is to understand your relationship with the Divine Presence. To realize that the law of God is written in your own mind is to make available to you a power which can meet every need.”

-Ernest Holmes
This Thing Called Life

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. “
– Marianne Williamson

“The agony of breaking through personal limitations is the agony of spiritual growth. Art, literature, myth and cult, philosophy, and ascetic disciplines are instruments to help the individual past his limiting horizons into spheres of ever-expanding realization. As he crosses threshold after threshold, conquering dragon after dragon, the stature of the divinity that he summons to his highest wish increases, until it subsumes the cosmos. Finally, the mind breaks the bounding sphere of the cosmos to a realization transcending all experiences of form – all symbolizations, all divinities: a realization of the ineluctable void.”
