head shot 7.16.16 - Copy

Zana Zeigler has worked for over thirty years inspiring individuals to become proactively involved in their journey towards physical and psycho-spiritual wellness. Zana has worked as a clinical body-worker helping folks figure out the causes of soft tissue pain syndromes and what to do about it, and also as a psycho-spiritual therapist, helping people make connections between their “inner and outer” lives. She also worked as a Practitioner, teacher, and Staff Minister with a Science of Mind Church in Nashville, TN.  Zana believes this eclectic background, and particularly her interest in the relationship between spirituality and psychology, adds much depth and experience to her practice.  Zana’s intention is to help people increase their awareness of “how” they think about their life issues and how those beliefs intersect with their spiritual or religious views.
All of these approaches put considerable stock in the individual’s ability, when supported, to take a personal inventory of strengths and weaknesses, and to confront long-held negative, self-defeating belief systems. Regardless of methods or techniques, the goal is to build a relationship grounded in trust and mutual respect, compassion, genuineness and connectedness. “I believe in our native capacity for transformation and healing; if that is a difficult belief for someone to hold at the moment_ that is alright. I will hold it for that person to the best of my ability, and look forward to a time when we can witness and share that belief as it is demonstrated in her or his life.”

Zana Zeigler graduated with a Masters in Human Development and Counseling (Vanderbilt University, 2014), a Masters in Divinity (Vanderbilt, 2006) and hold a certificate in the Carpenter Program in Religion, Gender and Sexuality, as well as a Masters in Fine Art (University of Georgia, 1985). Since the fall of 2014, after moving from Nashville Tennessee to Eugene Oregon, Zana has been working as a clinical mental health therapist at a community mental health agency as well as maintaining her psycho-spiritual therapy practice.

Michael Bogar’s approach is from a full-life experience. He can relate to a wide range of human beings and has a way of communicating to those at the top of their game and those ready to quit. He views life as an educational experience that he sometimes calls soul-making, requiring both negative and positive relationships with people, circumstances, ideas and emotions. There is no wasted moment in a soul-making life.

Michael has taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels and has a proven ability to inform and inspire students ranging from the informal beginner to the serious scholar. Students and audience members frequently comment on his depth of scholarship, personal approach and sense of humor. Michael has acquired two masters degrees in religious and biblical studies, has taught the classical religious texts from many religious traditions and is a very effective teacher of spiritual phenomena.

Michael Bogar is currently completing his doctoral dissertation at Pacifica Graduate Institute where he has studied Jungian Depth Psychology and universal mythologies. The title of his dissertation is: Watching God Grow Up: Reading the Bible as Stages and Modes of Conciousness.

Artist Elizabeth Brandon has shown her paintings for over 30 years in galleries across the US. Her style is primarily influenced by the 17th century Dutch and Spanish painters.  Along with showing her art nationally, Elizabeth painted the cover paintings for Cooks Illustrated from 2000- 2007 and established their familiar look. In the 1970’s, she gained an in-depth knowledge of the principles of light and atmosphere in the Old Masters tradition from her years of study at the Art Students League of New York, where she also met her artist husband, Joseph Sulkowski.

Elizabeth’s work includes still life, florals, and landscapes. Recently she has embarked on a new series based upon her 20 year yoga practice. These paintings are inspired by aspects of healing with a spiritual approach to yoga asanas, breath work, and body knowledge.

Elizabeth’s introspective paintings draw from her passion for the natural world and it’s attributes of light and shadow, with an emphasis on expressing the energetic chakra systems of the body.

She has won numerous awards for her still life and is currently represented at Trailside Galleries in Jackson Hole, WY,  Marine Arts Gallery in Marblehead, MA,  Edgartown Art Gallery in Martha’s Vineyard, and her studio/ gallery  at www.elizabethbrandon.com

He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, the oldest the art school in the U.S. founded in 1809. Afterwards, he continued his studies in the techniques of the Old Masters at the Art Students League of New York.

The animals, figures and landscapes of the Sporting Life are subjects that continually draw his attention. His trips afield have taken him from the quail hunting plantations of south Georgia and the grouse moors of the Scottish Highlands, to the fly fishing streams of Wyoming and Colorado and the polo fields of England.

Joseph’s paintings are in public and private collections worldwide.
